Dictation 3A (sh, s, ch, seen and sin)
Last week, while visiting some beaches on vacation, Jean suggested she and Ben should collect a sack of seashells. Jean thought it would be more fun to slowly walk up and down the sandy seashore and search for shells than to sip glasses of ice water in the shade of the beach shack. Although Ben said he thought she was being silly, he grinned and agreed to help pick up shells and fill the sack that Jean had. They collected seventy-seven different shells. It made Jean feel good to see she and Ben could fill the sack with shells. After filling the sack, they went to the beach shack to sit in the shade and sip drinks as they watched ships on the sea slip off into the sunset.
